Replacement of the current Swinton Village Green electrical cabling & sockets, which no longer comply with safety standards. A safe electricity supply on the Green is essential for events like our Swinton Gala Day & Christmas Lights Display.

Our project aims to bring a valuable asset to the people of Berwickshire. We already have 30+ bikes. The idea is that the TEDDA hut in Eyemouth will become a distribution hub for bicycles and related training activities.

Rediscover Borders would bring people together to increase confidence, knowledge and skills in outdoor work. Vote for us so we can work to combat loneliness, increase social connection and promote mental wellbeing using our beautiful countryside.    

The major benefit of this project to our community, and to visiting children, is to provide a safe place for children to interact with one another, burn off excess energy and enhance their personal and social skills through imaginative play.
