The rehearsal hall, essential for players of all ages and abilities, is in need of sound proofing and the outside walls repointing. Then this celebrated Band can continue to perform and compete.

We wish to upgrade the changing rooms & make them weatherproof. To secure the club’s future by providing the necessary facilities for bowling. Many of our members live alone, and the club acts as a space for social interaction whilst participating in sport.

The youth group leads this bid to support and equip the Community Garden Hub located in the grounds of the High School. We will be working with all ages to enhance our village, support outdoor learning activities to grow the gardeners of the future.

This bid is to help with the essential rebuild of our Indoor Riding School ensuring continuation of our services that benefit disadvantaged young people experiencing personal challenges, their families and their communities in the Scottish Borders.

The Hammerman’s Hall is a building of huge historical significance. We want to regenerate it to become a Meeting Room/Museum for all community groups to use with local history on display. 

We wish to establish a weekly low-cost community lunch club to bring together members of the local community of all ages. Additionally, there will be monthly activity sessions open to all to share interests, skills and improve health and wellbeing.

The Old Fish Shop in Selkirk, derelict for 22 years, is now in community ownership and could become a pop-up shop, meeting or exhibition space, or energy advice centre for the community. We have raised £61K and need £15K more to complete the job.

New beginning is to bring NEW and exciting sports to Cheviot area such as Floorball, Dodgeball, Handball and many more. This fantastic opportunity will be available to all ages, while we focus on health and wellbeing our aim is fun for everyone.

We hate dog mess on our streets. We hope to develop a model to combat it that all communities can adopt. We need funds to buy 18 bins with poo bag dispensers to help address this persistent problem with positive encouragement and public engagement.
