Peebles and District Men’s Shed are bidding for funds to equip a wood and metal workshop and social space, where members can gather, engage in meaningful activity to improve physical wellbeing and thereby reduce social isolation in the Community.

Coldingham wants to recreate the Merket Cross using stone from what remains of the 19th century cross, the old kirk and new stone. This will be a focal point for the community and enhance the centre of the village.

A bookable community taxi service for communities living along the A702 as far as Loanend, Dolphinton, leaving Penicuik town centre at 22:15 and 23:15 Mon to Sat, for the cost of a bus fare.

We are looking for the funding to assist with our venue hire for the next year. A Homecoming Event will start our centenary year to coincide with the end of the Beltane Festival. We hope that LBF will allow the art to be taught for years to come.
