Coldingham wants to recreate the Merket Cross using stone from what remains of the 19th century cross, the old kirk and new stone. This will be a focal point for the community and enhance the centre of the village.

Duns Information Exchange provides a substantial makeover to the Market Square information board, improving local community information flow using low tech and high tech, sharing fit for purpose information on activities for local people and visitors.

This boat will provide a chance for the people of Berwickshire to learn and enjoy the skills needed for being at sea in a very traditional sailing vessel. Then to gain understanding of what life at sea is all about, and how rewarding that can be.

1 in 6 people have some hearing loss and often can’t enjoy a full theatre and cinema experience. We are committed to wider accessibility and want to install a system to allow hard of hearing, and sight impaired people to enjoy performances.

This will allow the ongoing programme of festive lighting to progress in new and innovative ways. More importantly will open up new parts of the town to create a display unrivalled in the Borders, creating a feel good factor plus economic benefit.

Vote for Newlands Activity Centre and turn the Centre into a first class Theatre, Dance, Performance and Exhibition space. A lighting rig will allow us to host new activities plus provide training and work experience to budding Theatre Technicians. 

We are looking for the funding to assist with our venue hire for the next year. A Homecoming Event will start our centenary year to coincide with the end of the Beltane Festival. We hope that LBF will allow the art to be taught for years to come.
