1 in 6 people have some hearing loss and often can’t enjoy a full theatre and cinema experience. We are committed to wider accessibility and want to install a system to allow hard of hearing, and sight impaired people to enjoy performances.

This will allow the ongoing programme of festive lighting to progress in new and innovative ways. More importantly will open up new parts of the town to create a display unrivalled in the Borders, creating a feel good factor plus economic benefit.

HELP! Community Hub Westruther will provide a vital facility for vulnerable people in the community, the elderly, those living alone, young parents and will combat social isolation and loneliness. It needs renovated and kitted out. Please support us!

Peebles and District Men’s Shed are bidding for funds to equip a wood and metal workshop and social space, where members can gather, engage in meaningful activity to improve physical wellbeing and thereby reduce social isolation in the Community.

The Food Foundation supports people with learning disabilities/other social needs to gain skills, confidence and catering qualifications. We want to create a garden café at Victoria Park Centre where our students can serve you tasty home-made food.

We are seeking funding to not only repeat this popular summer event but to add to it, by including a bigger venue (the Town Hall) and bigger acts.  We would use the £15000 to pay for the festival’s free events, workshops, sound equipment & marketing.
